Earth University Costa Rican (formerly Costa Rican Dota)
RAINFOREST ALLIANCE CERTIFIED
Allegro Coffee and Earth University have partnered to introduce a wonderful coffee from Costa Rica. A light roast with notes of milk chocolate and honey, this coffee is produced by the Dota Cooperative, Santa Maria De Dota in the Tarrazu region. A percent of the proceeds from the sale of this Rainforest Alliance and Whole Trade guaranteed coffee benefit EARTH, a non-profit university in Costa Rica educating students in entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture. The Whole Trade seal guarantees the coffee is grown according to strict criteria for ethical trade, eco-friendly farming and the highest quality.
Guatemalan Antigua (from selected estates)
At their best, estate grown coffees from the Antigua region are the finest coffees in all of Central America. High altitude and rich volcanic soil provided by the three volcanoes surrounding Antigua, combine with a long, slow growing season, allow the coffee to develop great flavor concentration. Lively and luscious, the classic Antigua flavor is a complex interweaving of ripe fruit, bittersweet chocolate and peppery spice. As elegant and multifaceted as a fine cognac.

To celebrate, Allegro has created this commemorative blend which combines beans from three of their favorite farms in Central America; Guatemala La Bolsa, Nicaragua La Bastilla, and Costa Rica Santa Anita. These Rainforest Alliance certified farms produce top quality beans following exceptional environmental and social standards.

A blend of beans from the East African countries. Roasted to a medium-light degree to create depth of flavor and syrupy body. Deep and syrupy with notes of maple, golden raisin, and black mission fig.

This exquisite Sumatran coffee has been triple sorted by hand to ensure the purest, sweetest flavor possible. Creamy and smooth with tremendous depth of flavor.

While not as well known as Sumatran arabicas, coffees from the nearby island of Sulawesi are equally prized. This coffee is enormously full-bodied and satisfying, with herbal and earthy flavors, and a creamy butter-caramel finish.
